This study compared the effectiveness of four rotary instrument systems in shaping long oval root canals using microcomputed tomographic (micro-CT) evaluation. The instrument systems evaluated were BlueShaper, TruNatomy, DC Taper, and HyFlex EDM One File. The results showed no significant differences among the four systems in terms of canal shaping ability. However, increasing the size of the instruments resulted in a significant reduction in unprepared areas and remaining dentine thickness.
