The study examined the relationship between chronic shoulder and elbow adaptations in professional baseball pitchers. Significant positive relationships were found between shoulder posterior capsule thickness (PCT) and ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) thickness, and between teres minor muscle thickness and ulnar nerve cross-sectional area. However, no significant links were identified between shoulder strength, range of motion, or other structural measures and chronic elbow adaptations. These results highlight specific structural connections but indicate no clear relationship with functional measures like ROM.
