A study conducted on 793 children aged 8 to 10 found a tooth decay prevalence of 52.8%. The mean number of cavitated caries surfaces was 2.2(2.8). Additionally, 58.9% experienced sleep disorders, 20.2% were anxious, and 29.1% were obese. The research revealed associations between dental caries and sleep disturbances (RR = 1.38), general anxiety (RR = 1.71), and obesity (RR = 1.48). The presence of carious lesions was notably higher in children with these conditions. This underscores the importance of addressing oral health in children with sleep disorders, anxiety, and obesity.
