The participatory study explored the concept of "quality" in traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation from the perspectives of patients, caregivers, and clinicians. Using a mixed-methods triangulation design, researchers conducted a systematic literature review, semi-structured interviews with 22 participants (7 TBI patients, 8 caregivers, 7 clinicians), and an online consensus process. Reflexive thematic analysis identified broad themes mapped to 13 quality domains from the literature. Two consensus rounds reduced these to 12 prioritized domains encompassing service features, staff qualities, and treatment effectiveness. These consensus-driven quality indicators offer evidence-based guidance for enhancing and evaluating TBI rehabilitation programs.
