A study evaluated prophylactic clip closure's efficacy in preventing delayed bleeding after colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in patients on anticoagulants. Among 42 lesions, complete closure was achieved in 97.6% of cases. The incidence of delayed bleeding was low at 4.9%, significantly below the threshold of 20%. No major bleeding requiring transfusion or thromboembolic events were observed. Prophylactic clip closure appears effective in reducing the risk of delayed bleeding in this patient population.
