Despite medical advancements, kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC) poses significant challenges in urology. Researchers, aiming to enhance therapeutic approaches, investigate ADH5's significance in KIRC's clinical landscape. Utilizing TCGA data and qRT-PCR, ADH5's expression and its correlation with KIRC prognosis were analyzed. Results indicate ADH5 downregulation in KIRC, with significant associations with histological grade and clinical stage. Enrichment analysis highlights ADH5-related pathways, while immunological investigations reveal its role in the tumor microenvironment and immunotherapy responsiveness. ADH5 emerges as a potential prognostic marker and therapeutic target in KIRC treatment.
