A retrospective study assessed the effectiveness and safety of various chemotherapy regimens alongside radiotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC). Patients were divided into three groups: single-agent cisplatin (DDP), paclitaxel plus cisplatin (TP), and nanoparticle albumin-bound (nab-) paclitaxel combined with cisplatin (nPP). Results from 124 patients showed significant differences in OS (P = 0.041) and PFS (P = 0.003) among the groups. Notably, NPP demonstrated superior 2-year OS (92.2% vs 85.4%, P = 0.012) and PFS rates compared to DDP (88.2% vs 59.4%, P = 0.001). TP also exhibited improved 2-year PFS (78.0% vs. 59.4%, P = 0.048). Furthermore, nPP showed higher ORR than DDP (P = 0.013), with comparable AEs across groups (P > 0.05).
