A recent cross-sectional study in Dhaka, Bangladesh, explored the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among 607 cancer survivors undergoing treatment. The study from January to May 2022 utilized the EuroQol-5 Dimensions version (EQ-5D-5L) instrument to assess HRQoL, with UK value sets determining scores. Results indicated lower utility scores for patients with specific cancer types and advanced stages. Physical inactivity and socioeconomic status also played roles in HRQoL outcomes. The study underscores the need for targeted interventions and improved cancer care strategies in Bangladesh.
