Results from 209 subjects across 13 centres indicated that greater GenuAP narrowing correlated with lower surgical success, while greater GenuLW narrowing correlated with higher surgical success. These associations were held after adjusting for key variables. The study suggests that larger cohorts are needed to better understand the relationship between palate shape and surgical outcomes.
