The study compared the efficacy of non-invasive positive pressure face mask ventilation (NIPPmV) using a ventilator device against a self-inflating bag (SIB) and T-piece resuscitator (TPR). Analyzing 99 recorded videos of trained resuscitators, NIPPmV demonstrated significantly faster time to achieve the first chest rise, more accurate peak inspiratory pressure (PIP), and better ventilation rate control than SIB and TPR. The findings highlight NIPPmV as a superior early, effective, and consistent ventilation method.
