A retrospective study of 69 patients with Stage III/IV surgically unresectable oral squamous cell carcinoma (SU-OSCC) treated with radiotherapy (RT) or chemoradiotherapy (CRT) from 2011 to 2021 showed a median overall survival of 16 months and progression-free survival of 10 months. The 2-year loco-regional control rate was 60.4%. Bone involvement or neoadjuvant chemotherapy did not affect outcomes. Upfront radical RT/CRT offers favorable results and is preferred over palliative treatments.
