
A study assessed Treated Dentin Matrix Hydrogel (TDMH) for direct pulp capping, focusing on its marginal adaptation and physicochemical properties. TDMH demonstrated 92.20% continuous margins, gelation within the first minute, and 66% injectability. The hydrogel exhibited a porous structure with interconnected pores, swelling equilibrium at 377%, and maintained shape after absorbing over three times its weight in water. TDMH met ISO 6876 requirements, showcasing a weight loss of 1.98% and viscoelastic behaviour. The findings support TDMH as a promising direct pulp capping material for future clinical use.
