
The scoping review analyzes 149 cases across 41 studies, highlighting surgical approaches based on affected subsites. Transoral endoscopic resection (TER) and transcervical laryngeal preservation surgery (TPLS) were preferred over radical resections, emphasizing function preservation. More aggressive surgeries did not improve survival, reinforcing a shift towards conservative, function-sparing management strategies.
