The Walk With Ease (WWE) program, traditionally offered in person, was modified for telephone delivery (WWE-T) to address participation barriers. In a study with 267 participants, WWE-T significantly improved physical function, fatigue, self-efficacy, and daily activity impairment after 6 weeks. These benefits were sustained at 12 months, with significant reductions in depression and higher arthritis self-efficacy. WWE-T is a feasible and effective alternative for individuals facing barriers to in-person programs.
