This study evaluates test-retest variability (TRV) in mesopic microperimetry for retinitis pigmentosa (RP) patients, focusing on different BCVA levels. Results show significant TRV, particularly for pointwise sensitivity, making it an unreliable endpoint. Mean sensitivity is reliable for patients with preserved BCVA, while volume sensitivity, offering additional spatial data, holds potential as a clinical endpoint for assessing macular changes in RP.
