The study aims to determine the association between the type and number of D'Amico high‐risk criteria (DHRCs) with rates of cancer‐specific mortality (CSM) in prostate cancer patients treated with external beam radiotherapy. The researchers identified 34,908 patients with at least one DHRC and found that the presence of more DHRCs is associated with higher rates of CSM. The study suggests the potential for risk stratification within high-risk prostate cancer patients to inform treatment decisions.
