Ischemic heart disease, self-harm, cancer, stroke, and colorectal cancer were leading causes of years of life lost, while low back pain, depressive disorders, and musculoskeletal issues were leading causes of years lived with disability. High BMI, smoking, high blood pressure, and high fasting plasma glucose were major risk factors.
