The Development of Head and Neck Cancer in Patients with the Isolated Complaint of Globus Pharyngeus

This study aimed to determine the incidence of head and neck cancer (HNC) in patients presenting with Globus pharyngeus (GP). Over 4 years, only 1% of 377 GP patients developed HNC. This research provides valuable reassurance to otolaryngologists when evaluating patients with GP, indicating a low likelihood of underlying head and neck cancer.
