A study found that the peak amplitude of infraslow oscillations in sleep spindle activity was significantly reduced in people with Alzheimer’s disease, while frequency and bandwidth remained preserved. However, limited comparative evidence highlights the need for species-specific, high-quality randomized trials.

A post hoc analysis of the ANNEXa-I trial involving 434 patients with factor Xa inhibitor-associated intracerebral hemorrhage found that 72.1% had at least one non-contrast CT marker of hematoma expansion risk. A retrospective study of 33 women with postpartum hemorrhage during cesarean delivery found that uterine compression sutures achieved hemostasis in 69.7% of cases.
