Obesity is associated with changes in the resolution of acute inflammation that contribute to clinical complications. Thus, a complex and tightly regulated process to inhibit inflammation and maintain homeostasis after adipocyte apoptosis is needed to maintain health. This review elaborates on the molecular mechanisms to identify efferocytosis regulators in obesity and the mechanisms that can improve efferocytosis and reduce obesity‐related complications, such as using pharmacological agents and regular exercise.

A single-cell analysis of more than 144,000 immune cells from patients with Sézary syndrome and leukaemic mycosis fungoides identified three distinct malignant T-cell subtypes with different molecular programmes and potential vulnerabilities. The study also uncovered immune-evasion signals involving KIR–MHC-I and JAK/STAT pathways, offering clues for future targeted therapies.

A study of 199 pregnant women in northern Jordan found that 83.4% met the WHO 2020 recommendation for moderate-to-vigorous physical activity. However, activity was largely driven by household and caregiving tasks, while vigorous exercise was minimal. Employment was linked to higher activity, whereas household assistance and higher depression scores were associated with lower physical activity.

A study of 222 adults undergoing suprapubic catheter placement found that 31% experienced at least one complication within 90 days, while 15% visited the emergency department and 8% required hospital admission. Higher comorbidity scores were significantly associated with all four outcomes, highlighting the need for careful risk assessment and counseling before SPC placement.

The findings suggest PVDF may offer favorable postoperative sonographic characteristics.

Ovulatory endometrial preparation reduced pregnancy loss and may improve live-birth rates after frozen-embryo transfer.

A deep learning tool developed to analyze hand ultrasound images in systemic sclerosis automatically measured finger flexor tendon thickness with strong agreement to expert assessments. The model successfully generated measurements in all images, with a mean error of just 0.25 mm and 90% of segmentations rated clinically acceptable, potentially enabling faster and more standardized tendon assessment.

Older age, obesity and comorbidities may predict poorer biologic response in psoriasis, supporting personalized treatment.

A systematic review and meta-analysis of 30 studies involving 13,902 patients identified baseline factors linked to biologic treatment response in psoriasis. Older age, higher BMI, greater comorbidity burden and special-site involvement were associated with lower odds of complete skin clearance, while a positive family history was linked to better outcomes, supporting more personalized treatment selection.
