
A recent retrospective study involving 106 patients with frequent ventricular outflow tract premature ventricular complexes (PVCs) and 106 healthy controls investigated heart rate variability (HRV) patterns. Findings revealed decreased high-frequency (HF) levels and specific HRV parameters among patients, particularly in cases originating from the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT). Notably, the low frequency to HF (LF/HF ratio) ratio emerged as a pivotal marker, independently associated with RVOT-originating PVCs. The study underscores the importance of HRV assessment in managing patients with frequent ventricular outflow tract PVCs, offering insights into their cardiac autonomic nervous activity.
