Obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS) have long‐term implications on women's health. The administration of antibiotic prophylaxis and treatment following OASIS repair is controversial. A national survey was conducted to provide data about practice routines regarding antibiotic prevention and treatment following OASIS repair in Israeli labour and delivery units. The number of physicians that responded per centre varied from 1‐14. Heterogeneity exists in managing OASIS in Israel, particularly regarding the administration of antibiotics.
