In a breakthrough pilot study, researchers explore a novel sperm cryopreservation method for severe oligozoospermic subjects at risk of azoospermia. The innovative "tip‐microVapour Fast Freezing" technique, developed by the group, shows promising results. Among 39 subjects, it achieved a high recovery rate for sperm motility (0.29 for progressive motility) and viability (0.48). Additionally, in a subset of samples, it outperformed conventional methods with significantly better sperm parameters. Notably, this method also reduced sperm DNA fragmentation compared to traditional straws. These findings hold great potential for preserving fertility in challenging cases.
