Vitiligo can cause serious damage to the appearance of patients and affect physical and mental health, but there is currently no simple and effective treatment. According to the theory of autoimmune disorder, the separable hydrogel microneedles delivering alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) and tofacitinib were designed to treat vitiligo. Under the treatment of α-MSH/tofacitinib microneedles, massive deposition of melanin in epidermis and hair follicles significantly accelerated skin and hair pigmentation.
