After vaccination, healthy controls demonstrated broad proteomic and transcriptomic remodeling, whereas PTB patients showed limited molecular and inferred immune-cell changes, suggesting attenuated systems-level immune activation despite preserved short-term antibody responses.

During follow-up, 8.2% of HS patients initiated GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs), compared with 5.7% of psoriasis patients and 3.2% of controls. GLP-1RA initiation occurred earlier in HS patients, at a mean of 8.88 years, versus 10.1 and 10.2 years in the psoriasis and control groups, respectively. After initiation, lower rates of surgical procedures and systemic medication use were observed, although similar declines occurred among matched non-users, limiting conclusions about a treatment effect.
