This retrospective observational study evaluated the treatment outcomes of non-operative management for medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) and the relationship between image findings and outcomes. The study included MRONJ patients treated between 2010 and 2020. The complete healing rate was 68.5%. The analysis showed that "Sequestrum formation" on the internal texture and chemotherapy were significantly associated with treatment outcomes. Patients with "Sequestrum formation" had a shorter median time to healing compared to those with "Sclerosis" or "Normal" findings. The study suggests that initial image findings and chemotherapy can affect the prognosis of non-operative management for MRONJ.
