The role of tricuspid regurgitation (TR) related to cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) is gaining recognition as a distinct clinical concern. This review explores evolving interventional TR treatments, advancements in surgical risk assessment, peri-operative care for CIED-related TR, and the significance of lead extraction. This article is a collaborative effort among electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, imaging specialists, and cardiac surgeons and provides insights into disease mechanisms, diagnostics, and treatment algorithms for TR associated with CIED leads or leadless pacemakers.
