This study evaluates the efficacy of narrow-band imaging (NBI) for detecting respiratory papillomatosis in patients. Intraoperative NBI showed significantly higher detection rates compared to preoperative NBI and white light imaging. While preoperative NBI did not significantly differ from white light imaging in detection rates, intraoperative NBI remained superior. This suggests intraoperative NBI's crucial role in accurate papilloma detection.
