The phase III GAIA-CLL13 trial has provided evidence supporting the use of venetoclax-obinutuzumab, with or without ibrutinib, as a first-line treatment option for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). CLL patients traditionally receive chemoimmunotherapy with rituximab and either fludarabine plus cyclophosphamide or bendamustine, based on their age. However, in the past decade, several new drugs have been approved for CLL, including ibrutinib, venetoclax, and obinutuzumab. The trial data indicates that the combination of venetoclax and obinutuzumab, with or without ibrutinib, can be effective in this setting.

An umbrella review of 69 systematic reviews covering 970 studies and 221 factors identified six factors with convincing evidence of association with psychotic disorders. High population attributable fractions were observed for childhood adversities (40.69%), Toxoplasma gondii IgG positivity (20.47%), frequent cannabis use (12.75%), and clinical high risk for psychosis (12.68%).
