The study aimed to assess patient satisfaction with telehealth speech-language therapy sessions and identify factors that influence satisfaction. The study found that telehealth is a viable option for speech-language therapy across various patient populations and is associated with high patient satisfaction, regardless of gender identity, type of therapy, insurance type, travel distance, or prior in-person therapy. However, the study highlights the need for clinicians to adapt teleservices to the unique needs of older populations and encourage continued follow-up visits.
