Young children’s selective trust decision between relative versus precise expressions

The present study aims to examine who young children (3–7-year-olds) would depend on for asking information and whose information they would endorse: the one provided precise expressions, which were the mathematical presentation of several measurements or the other by a person who offered relative expressions which were assistant’s personal opinions did not depend on a metric measurement. The participants consist of 102 young children in Şanlıurfa province in Turkey. Mann–Whitney U Tests revealed that children preferred a relative assistant significantly more than a precise one for asking questions. Mann–Whitney U Test did not reveal any difference for endorse questions, and also, there was not any difference appearing among age
