Zoledronic Acid Adds No Benefit in mHSPC Bone Response

The BonEnza trial evaluated whether adding zoledronic acid (ZA) to enzalutamide (E) plus androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) improves bone response in metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC). Among 126 patients assessed via WB-DW-MRI, overall response rates were identical in both arms (69.8%), with no progression-free or overall survival benefit. WB-DW-MRI proved feasible for response monitoring, though it was unevaluable in 17 cases.
